On April 26th, the New York times published an article (see below) showcasing Atheists and the recent influx of people willing to come out of the closet on the subject and that is the inspiration for this blog. Obama is correct. We are not a “Christian only” nation. We are a nation of many faiths or, in nearly 16% of the population of our country’s case, no faiths. It is wholeheartedly refreshing to hear a president of ours finally distancing us from the absurd notion that Christianity is our countries state religion. We aren’t Turkey, we aren’t Iran, we aren’t England. There is no church of the US of A. Obama is making that perfectly clear. Please watch the video.
