On April 26th, the New York times published an article (see below) showcasing Atheists and the recent influx of people willing to come out of the closet on the subject and that is the inspiration for this blog. It’s wonderful that this has been a hot topic as of late and I think more and more people need to be open about it. Christopher Hitchens is a busy little anti-theist

Christopher Hitchens, one of the most famous, most outspoken and without a doubt, most abrasive anti-theists out there has been immensely busy lately. He’s been on the circuit debating seemingly any theologian that he can and even just recently had a most heated exchange with Mos Def on Real Time with Bill Maher. (See below)

Steve Harvey is an Ass

I know Steve Harvey as a comedian. Mostly as one of the famed “Original Kings of Comedy”. Actually the only one of the group that I found legitimately funny was the late and great Bernie Mac, with Cedric the entertainer a close second.

Now, apparently Mr. Harvey is making the rounds on television promoting his book on relationships. What makes him an authority on relationships is beyond me but a lot people write books on all sorts of subjects all the time, whether they have the credentials to do so or not. That’s not my issue.

Warning: I may seriously doubt you

Hello reader. Welcome to my blog. First off, let’s start with my intentions for this thing.

I plan on giving my opinions and offering stories on subjects that are important and interesting to me. These are the most important parts that make the whole of me and I believe that there are people out there just like me who would love this information.

THE SHORT VERSION:
I would like to clear up any negative misconceptions about Atheists and Skeptics people may have and to present secular news stories that could effect ALL of us in a negative or positive way, serve up my opinions and news about Asian and Asian-American culture and last but certainly not least and most near and dear to my heart, provide information about the latest in entertainment nerd culture.
